Audio Fidelity Mixing

Audio Fidelity uses both industry standard analog and digital equipment. We don’t take any shortcuts and our objective is to give you a product that you are completely satisfied with. At Audio Fidelity, we care about the music! The mixing process involves the following:

*Editing out unwanted noise, hiss, clicks and pops

*Rhythmic alignment/correction if specified

*Dynamics processing (compression, gates, limiters, expanders, DeEsser, etc...)

*Tone shaping using multi-band parametric and graphic equalizers

*Spectrum analyzer (frequency and amplitude)

*Overall and relative volume adjustments including automation

*Overall and relative panning adjustments including automation

*Stereo sends, busses, inserts, groups and markers

*Effects processing (reverb, delay, chorus, flanger, phaser, time and pitch shifting)

*Automation (volume, panning, effects, dynamics processing)

*For the final mix all of the individual tracks are then sent to a stereo master buss for imastering
